Making the choice to get some help can be difficult but here you are, reaching out, exploring and taking steps to discover your path. Together we can work on clarifying your goals and finding the way forward at your pace and style. I am a licensed clinical social worker with over 25 years of experience working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds. I started my career in New England, received my MSW at Boston University, and have spent the last 25 years in Texas, along the way working with issues ranging from life transitions to substance use, chronic illness and grief and loss. I work from a client centered approach, understanding that we each come with our own strengths and challenges. I offer a collaborative and encouraging space utilizing techniques from a variety of theoretical frameworks and models including cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment work, motivational interviewing and mindfulness.

A little about me: I really encourage laughter with clients and in my own life journey. I share a house with 3 boys (one is middle-aged) and a very large fluffy dog. I have a wild garden full of local volunteer plants. I have a passion for all things creative and get way more excited about my kids’ science fair projects than they do. Please reach out. I want to hear your story.
